About Deborah

I'd describe my personality as calm, creative, responsible, reliable, am punctual, fun and engaging. I like working with kids because I am an active listener and observer. I focus on being on the same page with parents' expectations, concerns and schedules. I started working with other families' kids after we first moved down from the North and it worked out that I watched my neighbor's son born with medical challenges so she could return to work. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my 4 kids and 8 grandbabies, walk, read, wordle and work crossword puzzles. One thing you should know about me is that while I'm retired HR, I once had my own in home daycare and have been CPR certified. Am flexible taking on additional household duties. My skills include patience, humor, being trustworthy, communicative, and energetic!
