Providing child care has always given me great joy. Fun adventures in nature, playing, exploring & learning are among my favorite outings with children. Arts and crafts as well as other enriching activities are important to me. I have a 15-year-old son that is a source of constant joy for me. I volunteer at his school as an assistant throughout his years at school and have onboarded in his school district supporting students with special needs. I currently have limited availability only on occasional weekday evenings and weekends I live in Oakland and would appreciate helping a family relatively close by. Deb took care of our 17 month old little girl for a couple of weeks while her usual caretaker was out of town, and she was wonderful! My daughter got to know her and connected with er quickly and really enjoyed spending time with her- Deb would often her to the local library for story time, to playgrounds in our neighborhood to play, feed/change/entertain her at home and while they are out and about. She is truly a sweet and warm person, always reliable, and always flexible with our scheduling needs. She was also very open to adapting to our routine and super easy to work with.
