About Deborah

Hi, I'm Debbie! I graduated in 2018 and have years of experience working with children in both caregiving and educational settings. I started babysitting at 16, worked as a summer camp counselor for ages 4-6, and tutored foster children. While studying abroad in Korea, I volunteered teaching English to students ages 7-12 in low-income schools. After graduating, I earned my TEFL certification and moved to Korea, where I worked as a full-time English kindergarten teacher and taught after-school programs for older students (ages 9-12) After some time away, I realized how much I missed working with kids and decided to return to childcare to support local families. I focus on creating a safe, engaging, and positive environment, whether that's helping with homework, encouraging creativity, or keeping routines running smoothly.
