About Deborah

Hello, I'm Deborah. I care for infants and children in their homes and in school settings. I have a perfect driving record, don't smoke, and I handle light housework. I enjoy pets. I've worked with typically developing kids, and kids with special needs, for 21 years in public & private schools. For the last 3 years I was a teaching assistant in an infant through Kindergarten Montessori school. I love working with children of all ages. My children are grown; my daughter is a scientist and my son is a college professor. My personality is cheerful, patient, and kind. I'm imaginative in engaging a child's cooperation. For me, the child's safety is paramount. My skills include Infant & Child CPR and First Aid, understanding child development, music & movement with children, and helping with stress-free toilet learning when the time is right. My experience enables me to respond well in any given situation. So far, so good
