Deborah has worked for us for 4 years taking care of our four children who are now ages 1 through 9 years old. She has been such a blessing for our family. Deborah has decades of experience as a school teacher working with kids of all ages. I immediately felt comfortable welcoming her into our home and trusting her with the kids. She has been very helpful with the older kids' school work and after school activities. She would be more than capable of tutoring a child if needed. She has gone above and beyond to support our older kids academically and advocate for them in school. She has even gone in to assist in the classroom as a volunteer. Deborah is especially sweet with our two younger babies and treats them as if they are her own grandkids. Deborah is incredibly reliable and usually shows up to her home a few minutes early. She is very conscientious about showing up as her best self for the kids everyday. She is also flexible when she can be. For example, when my job changed she was able to adjust her schedule to make it work. Deborah has a lot of energy and often takes the kids to the pool (she is a great swimmer), the park or the library. She is also a people person and easily makes friends which has been wonderful for us as she has put together a couple of different play groups with people who have kids of similar age. Deborah is a woman of many talents and has showered our kids with love and handicrafts such as homemade doll clothes, pottery, etc. She has such a sensitive spirit and is so generous with our children. We've been truly fortunate to have Deborah become part of our family. We are moving out of state or else we would never be giving her up!
