About Deborah

Hi. My name is Deborah (she/her). I have a M. S., degree in Speech Language Pathology. I have 40 years combined experience with teaching and providing speech-language therapy services in a variety of settings with ages 1 mo. to 103. My professional strength, whether with children or adults, has always been to provide care and education that is person/family centered, meaningful, fun and always from the heart. I have strong interpersonal communication skills and thoroughly enjoy building relationships. Some of the things I love include: cooking, problem solving, reading to kids, animals, gardening, trees, being silly, photography, cars, learning, studying, singing, dancing, art and poetry. I am nurturing, a self starter, reliable and detail oriented. I am finding myself at a transition point in my life where I would like to offer my gifts to families as a nanny/ home managing helper/senior care provider/dementia consultant/private chef. •LGBTQIA+ affirming values for all families.
