About Deborah

My name is Debbie, and I have been working with care. com for about 5 years now. Prior to working with care. com I spent almost 20 years working in the human services field. During that time I worked in several different group homes with people with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's syndrome, people with hearing and visual disabilities, and people with mental health issues. For the past year and a half I have been working with a 98-year-old woman with Alzheimer's syndrome. My responsibilities include passing medication, doing physical therapy exercises, doing personal care and hygiene routines (bathing, toileting, tooth brushing), meal preparation, light house keeping, and in general being a good companion. I am very kind, empathetic, patient, and dependable, and would like the chance to find another companion I can take care of. I truly love what I do and would love to help take care or your loved one.
