About Deborah

I have been caring for children since 1986 and have a teaching license in elementary education. I have not been a caregiver for adults but am trying to expand my horizons. Both my parents and my grandparents have passed away and I have no elders in my life. I long to be around older people and hear about the past and all they have accomplished. I feel like my infinite patience and past history of caring for children will be easily transferable to working with the elderly. I do have my current CPR/first aid training.

I'm happy to recommend Debbie for light senior care services. She visits my grandmother twice a week to provide companionship. My grandmother has dementia and paranoia, but Debbie has done a great job of joining her where she's at and redirecting when necessary. She is always thinking of ways to bring a smile. My grandmother looks forward to their visits. I'm very pleased.
