About Deborah

Hello and thank you for your time! I have worked with all ages in various ways for 20+years, as a babysitter, camp counselor, creative movement and expressive arts teacher. I was an aide for a child with ADD and anxiety, and did therapeutic work with him outside of class. I engage children in constructive and educational play, encourage creativity, exploratory learning, physical activity and outdoor time. We can do dancing, sports, play-acting games, reading, and art projects. I engage babies in activities which encourage their developmental milestones, and enjoy dancing and singing with them too. I have a natural ability to attune to children of all ages and have a lot of patience and clarity. Validating your child's feelings and respecting their choices is very important to me, while also maintaining healthy boundaries. I do my best to help grow their confidence and autonomy, as well as encouraging empathy and connection in their interactions with others.
