Experience: 5 yrs
Making a difference in people's lives is my daily goal. With five years of experience providing care, I am deeply committed to supporting seniors, fostering their well-being. I'm compassionate, friendly, and detail-oriented. I adapt to changing routines, I provide transportation, run errands, assist with personal care and meal preparation. I also understand the importance of clear communication, providing regular updates via text or phone, according to your preferences. Creating a comfortable environment is essential to building a strong connection. I have a car and I am comfortable with pets. I became a caregiver because I want to support families and provide reliable care. Guided by strong Christian values, I'm responsible, trustworthy, and deeply respectful of the individuals and families I serve. I understand the importance of patience, dignity, and kindness when caring for the elderly.
When I first hired Debbie, she was simply coming to spend time with my mother, provide companionship, and help with light housekeeping. I never imagines the incredible role she would come to play in our lives. She walked alongside my mother through every stage of her dementia journey – from assisted-living to Memory Care and ultimately through the final chapter of her life. She was endlessly patient, compassionate, and creative, always finding meaningful activities to keep my mom engaged and smiling. What truly set her apart was her unwavering dedication. She never hesitated to adjust her schedule as she could when we needed her. She accompanied my mother to the hospital until I could arrive, stayed late into the evening when I was traveling, and when I called before dawn to tell her my mother had passed away, she was up and on her way to be with me without a second thought. Living out of state, I couldn’t always be there, but I always knew my mother was in loving hands. She cared for my mom, as if she were her own family, offered thoughtful suggestions about her care, and help me make difficult decisions with kindness and wisdom. She became the sister I never had and gave me tremendous peace of mind. I can never fully express my gratitude for the love, dignity, and compassion she showed my mother. Any family would be incredibly fortunate to have someone like her caring for their loved one.
