I have a huge heart for children and a dedication to helping children reach their full potential academically, social/emotionally, and behaviorally. As a former special education, teacher, department chair, and school lead mentor, I have seen firsthand the challenges that families face when it comes to raising a child who has special needs. Unable to give as much of my time as I wished I could, I began to realize that I'd be a stronger force for our students and families if I offered support outside of the public school setting, in the comfort of their own home. I am a licensed special education, teacher and advocate and a life coach specializing in elementary education, child behavior, relationships, and connection. I have a bachelors degree in psychology from UVA and a masters of education in special education from Grand Canyon university.
