About Debi

I was an elementary school teacher for over 20 years in the public school system, teaching grades 1-4. I currently teach homeschool, I do private tutoring, and I substitute teach. I love working with and having fun with children. I'd describe my personality as happy, loving, fun. I enjoy tutoring because I like helping struggling students/children or giving them extra support to those needing an extra push. I'm looking for a job that respects me and trusts me. I am also looking for flexibility. In my spare time, I like to read, be at the beach, paddle board, exercise, and research new things. One thing you should know about me is I come with a lot of experience from my years of teaching. My skills include patience, knowledge of math and language arts in grades 1-4 in the public school system, and most currently my experience in teaching a Christian faith based curriculum, The Peaceful Press, as well as Right Start Math, and Fix It Grammar.
