About Debbie

Hi. Thank you for reading my introduction. I've worked as a nanny and family assistant for 17 years. Before those positions, I was a preschool teacher at a Montessori school. I studied at UC Davis and graduated with a degree in Human Development. Children fascinate me; their internal drive to grow and discover is beautiful to watch. And I think children are quite funny.! And I do love to laugh! Kindness and respect are two very important values to me and guide my every interaction. I'm very intentional about planning activities and even conversations to facilitate the "next thing" a child is growing toward. I love being outside, singing, dancing, reading and cooking. My personality is nurturing and relational. And last but not least. I am blessed with the privilege of being a mom to two grown sons.
