I have an engineering degree and have 2 sons, aged 34 & 29 in the high and low end of the spectrum. My older son is a success story having graduated NYU and living independently and working in NYC. My younger son is non verbal and a 17 year leukemia survivor and lives in a grouphome. I have enjoyed raising them both and know other parents need a break to take care of themselves or have dependable attentive care for their special needs children while they work. I have been the billing administrative assistant for a wonderful speech therapist who taught one son social skills and speech to the other. I am a good driver with a reliable car and can transport your child to school, activities, or therapies.
