I have 18+ years of experience working in a child care facility and as a nanny. I have been able to demonstrate a lot of patience, love and warmth to each individual child that I have taken care of. I have the ability of being able to understand and meet a child's needs based on their own personality and temperament. I enjoy creating age appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional and intellectual growth. I have boxes of fun activities that include: books, puzzles, fine/gross motor activities, reading, writing, math games, etc. Over the years, I have spent a lot of time nurturing newborns and infants. I believe it is very important to engage with them in songs, books and meaningful conversation in order to promote language development. I also include daily exercises and activities that help with their physical development.

Debbie has been our nanny for 5 years. We have three children: 6, 4, 2. We interviewed ~20 people on Care.com, and she was by far the best. Our friends' who have nannies have commented to us how great they think Debbie is in comparison to their nannies. She loves our kids and they love her. Part of the reason we chose her was based on the review from her previous employer in Oregon, who raved about her. She is completely dependable, and is never late, and almost never sick. My wife and I have busy schedules with long hours, and Debbie is a blessing. She is patient with our children and has helped teach them everything. Debbie made teaching tools for numbers, colors, shapes, animals, fine motor skills, reading, etc. She is not the sort of nanny who just plops the kids in front of the TV or just watches them play. She takes her job of child rearing as seriously as any professional, reading parenting books. She never yells, never loses her temper. She's simply the best nanny on Care.com
