About Debbie

I have worked with an elderly lady who has Parkinson's disease and dementia and a gentleman with COPD and had recovered from a stroke. Working with the elderly is a very fulfilling job, most of them have worked their whole lives only to find themselves in need of care. I find most of them to be kind people who get lonely and are afraid to let go of their independence, which causes them frustration. They need to feel worthy and needed, we have to remember that there was a time in their lives when they were making all the decisions.
