I have spent the last 23 years doing adult home care and I love working with my clients. For the past 7 years the extent of my work job has been working with Alzheimer's , dementia clients . My mother suffered from this terrible disease for seven years and was my first exposure to Dementia . Every day I lost another piece of her until she was totally gone and didn't know me anymore. I understand the disease and the five different stages of it and through my clients have learned even more. Then there are the classes that I have taken. I do all aspects of caregiving and I love it. I am most excited to meet with you the future client and talk over their needs . I always stay with my clients until I'm not needed anymore and then I seek new clients, I have always worked acquiring employment through word mouth or CARE never having worked for a company .
