My name is DeAvion. I have worked with the elderly for about 5 years. I was able to stay overnight and help a client after she had lost her mobility. I have experience in changing bedding, providing proper medication, preparing food, assisting with showers, tending to pets, cleaning a clients home, grooming their hair and dressing them, as well as companionship. Prior to me starting a career in caregiving I took care of two of my grandmothers who were homebound until I left for college, and I would come back home for summer breaks to continue caring for them. I was taught this profession at a very young age by one of my grandmothers who was a CNA and have always loved being able to give back by helping the elderly. I would love to be able to get back into this career and being able to do something I truly enjoy.
