I have previously taken care of an elderly gentleman for 7 years. I was his full time caregiver and even did hospice at home when his health declined. I met him 7 years ago and he had no family or friends and suffered a stroke and couldn't advocate for himself or the doctors would brush off his concerns so I stepped in to help him out. At the time it was temporary then led to becoming like family and having Thanksgiving and Christmas together. I just wanted him to feel loved and cared for in his last moments. I just hope I can continue spreading love and joy to others and to make everyone feel special.
