About Deanna

I am a certified teacher with 25 years of experience working with students from pre-K through 12th grade in both general and special education settings. I have extensive experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, including English learners and students with IEPs. This summer, I am offering a small number of tutoring sessions (mid-June through early August) with limited availability on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. I specialize in reading, writing, and foundational academic support, helping students build confidence, structure, and clarity in their learning. My approach is calm, structured, and responsive to each child's needs. I offer both small group sessions and individualized support, depending on what best fits the student. I value clear communication with families and aim to create a supportive, focused learning environment where students can make meaningful progress.
