About Deanna

Deanna is an extraordinary caregiver, and I feel very fortunate that she was part of my family’s care team. When my dad moved to Virginia three years ago with advanced chronic kidney disease, we knew his time was limited. He was a proud and stubborn man who was not in favor of having an aide, which made the situation especially challenging. Despite this, Deanna won him over in a way few people could. She has a gentle, compassionate nature and an incredibly calming presence. My dad, who could be a curmudgeon and often difficult, genuinely loved her. In his final weeks, she had a unique ability to bring him peace and comfort — something that was invaluable not only to him but to our entire family. Deanna was the one by his side when he passed, and I truly believe her presence made that moment easier and less frightening for him. That gift is something I will never forget. After my dad’s passing, Deanna remained connected with our family, showing that her care was never just a “job.” When my mom later broke her hips, Deanna again offered her support. She continues to stay in touch even now, checking on my mom and offering friendship as well as care. Deanna is dependable, gentle, and deeply compassionate. She brings dignity to those she cares for and comfort to their families. I would hire her again without hesitation and cannot recommend her highly enough.
