My specialty is working with high-functioning children with Autism. Recent experience includes twin 6-year-old boys, one with Autism, non-verbal, and EH. I am also in regular contact with a 19-year-old High School student with Autism whom I counsel for Life Skills, however-- he is an amazing young man who teaches me more about living a wonderful life than I teach him :-) I see Autism as a gift that allows special people to express themselves in unique ways. I have a Masters Degree in Education with extensive music and art skills. I have even taught children with Autism how to play the violin and it has improved their focus as well as academics.
