I have younger brothers who struggled through school. They were smart, just not book smart. When it got to the point where they were fighting with teachers because math and science concepts were being explained in ways they could not grasp I would step in and teach my brothers. I went to college for education but was disinterested in formal teaching so I didn't complete that degree. Instead I have an associate degree and I am working on my bachelors in Intercultural Studies. School has always been very easy for me and for whatever reason I excel at translating material into ways struggling students can grasp. I have teaching experience at a preschool level and tutoring experience from 3rd grade until 10th grade. My best subjects are math and science but I am also comfortable with French, language arts and music.
