I have been the youth director at my spiritual center for 2 years as well as Being a director of weekly summer camps for over 10 years. I have served as caretaker in two separate orphanages. One in which the children had varying degrees of Cerebral Palsy. I have great report with babies and kids of all ages. I have served single children to multiples and twins. My daughter calls me the baby whisperer. I have been the Art instructor in a Montessori school setting as well as home schooling my four, now adults, through high school. I have a college degree and numerous certifications. I am CPR certified. I bring smiles, great patience, stability, compassion & genuine love into your home. Deanna has been a wonderful addition to our home over the last two years. She has a very caring and calm demeanor, and is infinitely patient with our children (now-7 yo girl and now-5 yo boy) even when it’s hard to stay cool. She has an endless supply of fun music, games, and crafts, and is wonderful at enriching the kids’ existing interests. Our son loves all things reptile, and so Deanna has taken him to reptile stores, interactive reptile zoos I didn’t even know existed, finds reptile books at the library, the list goes on. Our daughter has been in school the last two years so Deanna has not had as much of a role in her life, but our daughter loves Deanna and loves when we have date nights so Deanna stays late. She comes up with great activities, board games, crafts, etc. She has also been wonderfully helpful in our home, taking care of the kids’ laundry, helping us with dishes and general tidying, and occasionally helping me to prep dinner or cooking for the kids if I ask. She is a godsend.
