About Deandra

Bringing joy and nurturing care to children is my passion. My experience as the oldest of many siblings, coupled with my work at the Groden Center with non-verbal autistic children, has solidified my desire to positively impact young lives and support families. I have a college degree and one year of childcare experience. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and have completed Early Child Development coursework. I enjoy outdoor sports, board games, and educational activities that make learning fun. I'm comfortable caring for up to four children of all ages, including those with special needs. I'm happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, travel, crafts, and swimming supervision. I am patient, creative, and friendly. I always follow the parents' lead on household rules and communication preferences. I look forward to connecting with you and creating a safe, happy, and enriching environment for your children.
