I have three years of experience with children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. I am excited to be a role model to children so they may grow up to be respectful and well-rounded people. Personally, I believe it is essential for children to have an understanding role model who can sympathize with their feelings while still keeping them accountable for their actions. Everyone makes mistakes, so it is necessary to acknowledge them and learn from them. As for the learning aspect, it comes from both sides; most adults learn from children just as much as children learn from adults. Listening and expanding on what children are thinking is another excellent way of bonding with them.
