Deana is great! She has been my backup nanny and occasional babysitter. My son loves her and she is very good with him.

Deana is our go-to babysitter! She has watched our son since he was 2.5, now 3.5, first covering for our nanny for a week. Our son is shy, but warmed to Deana right away (as did we!). She has that magic, likely from having five kids of her own and from her experience as a nanny. She is very engaged, speaks his language, and has good intuition-- I trust her judgement. Deana not only arrives on time, but is flexible and communicative.

Dana is a very reliable consistent and trustworthy person. Always offering a helping hand even outside of her job description.

Deana always had an activity planned and excitement for the day ahead.

Deanna signed on to watch our kids for 3 (3 years old and 1.5 years old) days per week. The first week, as far as we could tell, went very well. The kids liked Deanna and she seemed to do well- when asked about the week, she said it went very well and had no concerns. Late the night before Deanna was scheduled to start the second week, Deanna emailed to say she had a family emergency and could not help. We understand that- things happen. However, Deanna proceeded to entirely ghost us, not respond to any messages, despite maintaining an active login presence on Care.com. So while Deanna appeared to do a great job, she really left us hanging, provided no feedback and ultimately disappeared in the most unprofessional way.

We interviewed Deana for a nanny-share position with another family and she was great at the interview. She really seemed to connect with our girls and we felt she would be a great fit. However, when we contacted her afterward to offer her the position, she never responded.
As a bit of a disclaimer, due to a miscommunication between the two families, I didn't specify the position would be temporary in the job posting, and it only came up in the interview. I realize this is a deal-breaker if you're looking for a more permanent job, so I completely understand why she didn't take the position. However, I wish she would have at least responded to our offer, even if it was to tell us no. She kind of left us hanging. 

Did not show for interview. No contact before/after about being unable to make the scheduled time.
