I later worked in a daycare center for three years and was an after-school teacher for K-12. Since 2017, I have continued providing childcare both in my home and in others'. I assist with homework and daily activities that help children grow and thrive. I'm certified in CPR and first aid, have 46 hours in early childhood education, and hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. I also have experience working with children who have special needs. Currently, I'm pursuing my bachelor's degree in psychology with a focus on child and adolescent development. Deana was absolutely amazing with our 15 month old son. She was very hands on with him throughout the day, took him to children’s museums, took him to parks, gave him his medication daily, sent me multiple updates with photos throughout the day, and even went to Walgreens to pickup his prescription when I couldn’t. If I could add her to my family I would. We hired her for 5 weeks while I was traveling for a job, and I wish she lived closer to us because if she did, we would keep her forever. She’s an absolute blessing.
