About Dayana

Hello! My name is Dayana, I am currently 24 years old, born and raised in Chicago. From a very young age, I knew I wanted a career in early childhood education. For years I have worked as a sitter and in 2021 I started working at a childcare center located in Irving Park, Chicago. I started off as a teacher assistant and later promoted to infant Lead Teacher. Working as a lead taught me a lot about the development of a child. I have experience in sleep training, tracking milestones, providing activities, and more. After 2. 5 years of working in a fast paced daycare setting, I made the switch to working as a nanny and couldn't be happier as I get to do more one on one with the children and grow deep connections. I am bilingual, fluent in Spanish. I love to go out for walks with the children and have any outdoors activities. My two favorite things about working with kids are watching them learn new things and all the baby snuggles! l hope to find the perfect family I can grow with.
