About Dax

Caring and supporting other people has been the highlight of my life for the last three years. It all began with my grandmother's dementia diagnosis that changed my life forever. For two years, I was in charge of her around the clock care. Bathing her, cooking for her, taking her to the doctor, administering medicine and doing activities with her. Whatever she needed, I did it for her. I eventually realized my passion, and volunteered at centers, and assisted living homes. There I gained experience in helping patients regain their independence. I supported them in all aspects of their lives while providing friendship and a good time. I specialize in dementia patients. However, I have worked with patients that lack sight, hearing, and general motor skills. This occupation fits me perfectly since I love helping people, a good listener, and all about fun and safety. Now, I work with local homes to develop fun activities for seniors and ways to better their care.
