About Dawn

I'd describe my personality as kind, patient and loving. I like caring for seniors because I've watched my mom care for senior relatives and now for my dad. I believe I have the love and patience to give seniors. I'm looking for a job that cares for seniors. I have been a caregiver most of my adult life. I was in the military right out of college but after four years I became a stay-at-home mom. My first child, my son Luke, was born with a heart condition. He spent time in the hospital where I learned to care for him. I had to give him several medications throughout the day. My time as a mother has given me the patience required to take care of anyone with special needs. Also, I have watched my mother care for senior relatives until their passing. She set an excellent example. One thing I would like you to know about me is that I'd care for loved one just like a member of my own family. My skills include giving medication, preparing meals and aid in moving around their home.
