About Dawn

I hold a valid teaching license for grades K-8 with a Reading Specialist K-12 endorsement. I have experience teaching in grades K-8 in all subject areas. I have also been a full-time instructor in the Department of English at the university level. I taught composition and literature courses at Miami University-Oxford, Wright State University, and Wilberforce University. I hold a BS in Elementary Education, a MA in Composition and Rhetoric and a MEd in Literacy. I completed a number of courses in special education at Ohio University and basic ABA training online, as well. I have worked in Dual-Language classrooms for 9 years helping students acquire English language skills and aided hundreds of struggling students in the process of learning to read.
