About Dawn

For years, I've dedicated myself to providing attentive and engaging care and instruction to children. My university degrees in education have provided me with a strong foundational knowledge in child development. I am a retired educator with experience in PreK-8 classrooms. I have experience in childcare as a former assistant director of a large preschool facility. I have hands-on experience working with children who have multiple disabilities, completed graduate courses in DH and MH at Ohio University, and ABA coursework online. I am comfortable enforcing household rules. I'm happy to assist with cooking and meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, carpooling, swimming supervision (I have experience as a high school swim coach), as well as educational and art activities. I am a pet parent to both a dog and a cat and volunteer with animal rescue. Certifications-CPR/First aid/K-8 License/K-12 Reading Specialist
