About Dawn

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With seven years of experience as a Certified teacher, I specialize in English, test preparation, and study skills for middle school, high school, and adult learners. I believe in fostering critical thinking rather than simple memorization. By actively listening to how you interact with new material, I tailor my methods--whether through visual aids, hands-on activities, or real-world examples--to suit your unique learning style. I find deep fulfillment in witnessing that "aha!" moment when a complex concept finally clicks. Because I have extensive experience working with students who require specialized support, I am dedicated to building your confidence through consistent encouragement and manageable, step-by-step progress. I look forward to partnering with you to turn your academic goals into reality.
