About Dawn

I am a compassionate and kind individual who is reliable, patient and trustworthy. I have cared for the elderly in an assisted living community which specialized in Dementia and Alzheimer's. There, I was in charge of meal service, activities, games, arts and crafts, exercise and outings as well as assisting the CNAs with dressing our residents and transporting them as well. I have also worked for The Arc of Northwest Indiana where I provided in home care and companionship for adults with physical, mental and emotional disabilities. My duties included administering their medications, meal preparation, light cooking, outings, errands and laundry. More importantly I helped the young adults in learning to care for themselves so they could live a more happy, independent and productive life.
