My husband was in the hospital and nursing home for over five months, so I watched and helped at both places. When my husband was able to come home, he had to learn how to do everything again because he lost so much weight and muscle mass. I helped bathe him and helped him use the restroom, helped him walk again, administer medicine, do everything a wife and or a caregiver would need to do. I have also been an elementary teacher for 17 years so I bring a lot of fun and companionship.
