Hi- I'm looking for a summer only position as a nanny or babysitter. I would prefer full-time, but would also consider half day afternoons/evenings. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Child Development and work in a local public school system. I am a teaching assistant for preschoolers with intensive special needs. I have reliable transportation and am a non-smoker. I love being able to teach children new things and to give them my undivided attention. I think the best babysitters are people who are able to have fun and be silly, but also help the children to be respectful and kind to others. Activities I enjoy doing with kids are playing outside, water play, board games, Wii, dramatic play, and craft activities. Of course, I will involve myself in whatever captures the child's interest, even if it differs from the above list. Some of my past jobs include: preschool lead teacher, infant day care teacher, teacher assistant for 3rd grade special needs, teacher for teens with autism, and teacher assistant for K and 1st grade special needs.
