Hello my name is Dawn I'm 45 I have a brother with down syndrome so I would say my experience with working with the disabled is lifetime. However not only am I a family member I have also worked for many years as a paid employee to assist individuals with disabilities. Starting at age 15. I have always had excellent experiences and outcomes with the individuals I supported through out the years. I firmly believe it's not because of trainings classes I've taken or seminars I've attended to serve this community of people. It's truly because if my lifetime experience in a family with a disabled member and the need to treat people all equally and the same as anybody else you see in your community. No different so with that said I truly believe I'm a lucky when I am chosen to work with these clients because I don't feel like it's work. To me it's just life work is being a cashier at WalMart.. I love working in this field and always have . Hope to hear from you. Have a blessed day.

Dawn helped cover a last minute need for care, and while I was nervous, but it couldn't have gone better. She was kinda and patient with my children, she even did my dishes, I came home to a lovely bouquet of flowers picked from the gardens, I will definitely consider her in the future if I need care
