About Dawn

Hello! I hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Sciences from the University of Maine and an Associate's degree from the University of Maryland. Over the last several years, I've worked with a range of students helping them strengthen their writing, understand literature, and communicate with clarity and confidence. I've spent two years mentoring students in educational settings, offering support. My tutoring experience includes working with students to proofread essays, organize their thoughts, and develop strong thesis statements. I also specialize in helping adult learners create resumes and cover letters that reflect their skills and goals, whether they're changing careers or re-entering the workforce. In terms of test prep, I bring firsthand experience. I've taken and passed multiple exams including the SAT, ACT, PSAT, AP English exams, and CLEP tests with consistently high marks in English, literature, and writing sections.
