I used to be a certified nurses assistant. I am CPR and first aid certified. I have helped elderly clients in their homes with activities of daily living -including bathing, dressing, medication assistance, cooking, light cleaning, laundry, errands, etc. I have a lot of experience working with dementia patients. I am flexible to help in anyway that I can! I have dependable transportation and can take clients to doctors appointments. I love people of all ages! I am most definitely a people person! I just cannot be in homes that have cigarette/vaping smoke, cats and some dogs because I'm allergic. If it sounds like I would be a good fit for your family, I would love to hear from you!

Dawn has been a blessing for my 87 year old mother. Mom has Alzheimer's and arthritis. She is mobile but very slow and Dawn is patient, kind, and treats her with great respect. In the 8 months Dawn has been caring for mom they've built a strong relationship. They traveled together to our family winter home and Dawn was on 24 hour duty for 3 weeks straight. Then in June Dawn agreed to be mom's live-in companion 5 days a week. It's a lot of work and she handles it well. Even though getting out of the house is a challenge Dawn makes sure to take mom on outings and mom really enjoys all the fun they have together. Dawn fills pill boxes and give meds, cleans house, takes care of everything to do with incontinence and personal care including standing by for bathing. Our mom's memory and mobility is fading very quickly and we will be moving her to memory care. If we could continue to work with Dawn we would, and we highly recommend her as a senior caregiver.
