About Dawn

My husband and I were so fortunate to have Dawne as our baby’s caregiver for the first 8 weeks after bringing her home from the hospital. Our daughter was born 6 weeks early and spent 2 weeks in the NICU, which was a difficult experience for us as new parents. Dawne provided exceptional care for our preemie while also supporting our mental health. Her experience, skill, and confidence gave us the peace of mind we needed to get deep, restorative sleep at night. We could not have felt more comfortable having Dawne in our home, and as new parents, we appreciated her gentle guidance, which always felt encouraging - never judgmental or pressured. Dawne provided diligent nightly logs of our baby’s feedings, sleep/wake times, and any other relevant details such as spit ups, gas/fussiness, etc. so we could better monitor her health. She shared helpful tips to ease our baby’s discomforts, which we then utilized during the days and nights on our own. Dawne’s passion and warmth shine through her work. She clearly loves what she does and finds so much joy in supporting the families she cares for. We are so grateful to have connected with Dawne, and we hope she never stops working as we plan on reaching out for her support with all future babies.
