About Dawn

I'm compassionate, dependable, and attentive. I don't just show up--I pay attention. I notice the little things and recognize when something seems different. Caring for others has been part of my life from a young age through my family and community. Caring for a family member with special needs has taught me patience, observation, adaptability, and how to understand needs that aren't always communicated easily. I have hands-on experience with feeding-tube care, taking blood pressure, and several years of CPR and first-aid training. I'm also experienced with companionship, respite care, light housekeeping, household management, and meal preparation. I believe caregiving is about more than completing tasks. It's about dignity, respect, connection, and helping someone feel seen, comfortable, and valued. Outside of caregiving, I enjoy plants, gardening, cooking, crafting, thrifting, mother-kitten neonate fostering. and spending time with my family and pups.
