My experience began here on Care. com with on the job training by the clients parent to assist in providing in home care for their child that was non mobile/ non verbal. Including experience in repositioning/ transferring using a hoyer, wheelchair, putting on back brace, feeding with gtube set up and cleaning, sponge bathing, dressing, changing pads bed sheets, hygiene. I also have experience assisting toddler with a club foot and contracture deformity in hand. I personally have years of experience caring for my daughter born with congenital hypotonia. She also has ADD/ADHD and was developmentally delayed. And another daughter who had complete spinal fusion at 14. They are both grown now.
