About Drew

I have experience assistant teaching at Thorne Nature Preschool in Lafayette, leading summer wilderness day camp with kids 5-12 years old in groups of 10 with the help of a teen volunteer, assistant teaching (as a Paraeducator) at Horizons K-8 with a 5/6 grade class, and babysitting since the young age of 14. Most recently, I've been tour guiding as the boat naturalist in Skagway, AK. I like to sew and crochet, read nonfiction, and I spend a lot of my time hiking and camping with my dog. I love crafting and going to the museum with friends. I have worked in environmental education since graduating from Colorado Mesa University. I was a nanny for 4 summers for a family with a girl and boy, starting when they were 5 and 7, and since then I have babysat on the side through college and on and off since graduating.
