I am in the very early stages of formal ASD training. Over the years I have had occasional first-hand experiences with highly functional students and coworkers who were on the spectrum. In each case I can recall, the people were amazing and the experiences were inspirational. I am now seeking opportunities to improve my understanding of ASD and, in the process, find a family who might be able to leverage my skill set in a way that would enhance their quality of life.
