I had the opportunity to provide primary care for my declining grandfather in his 80s during an off semester. He struggled with dementia, diabetes, cancer, and the passing of his wife--and also had a very strong will. So I understand the tension between being firm and treating a person with dignity, and like an adult, and the creativity and tact that often entails.

David was amazing for my 90 year old dad who broke his foot. It was only a short term need. David was wonderful. Very positive person. Was very quick to figure out how to help our family. A very giving person. We were so lucky to find him. He worked with our irregular schedule as long as we gave him enough notice. We have worked with other caregivers from agencies and on care.com but he was on another level way up from them. He didn't have as much experience as some but he made up for that and more by his willingness to help and learn and positive attitude. This is a stressful time. He very much reduced our stress.
