I founded Kinder Harbors Animal Sanctuary, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit in 2006. We provide volunteer days and fund-raising assistance to other non-profits as well as other services. On a more personal level, I have provided care for friends' and clients' animals periodically for a number of years. This includes walking, feeding and companionship. Additionally, I have cared for sheep, goats, horses, donkeys and pigs and assisted rehab facilities with birds. I go beyond feeding in that I talk to the animals, provide them with significant exercise, observe any potential medical conditions or strange behaviors and make certain they are safe and sound before departing.
