At any age, we deserve to feel cared for and valued. I first found my love for supporting the care of adults and seniors during my time at an assisted living facility where I helped the nurses and staff in all types of needs. Then, as my father faced health challenges and needed greater assistance, I was able to use those skills to ensure his days were filled with the most joy possible while rebuilding his self-confidence and independence. As an avid artist and craftsman, I love engaging others in the healthy benefits of the arts. Furthermore, I find time in nature can also be renewing for all of us, and I enjoy sharing walks, or other ways to experience nature, with people I care for. I look forward to sharing these passions and skills with more families and giving their loved ones the best care possible. My top caregiver skills are a blend of compassion, empathy, patience, and detail-oriented . Unfortunately, I am allergic to dogs and cats, but I do love them!
