My only experience involved caring for my then active 92-year-old father in 2011 when he was diagnosed with bladder cancer. He underwent surgery, and for 3 months was in various hospitals attempting to recover. He passed away from complications, yet for those 3 months I spent countless nights sleeping in his hospital room and attending to his personal needs while advocating for his medical needs at the various hospitals.
