My son was with Vanessa in a share care for 13 months, until he went to preschool at age 3, 50 hours/week. Vanessa keeps the kids on a schedule and plans activities that follow a weekly rhythm (library story time on Mondays, playground on Tuesdays, etc.) while keeping a strict daily schedule (particularly regarding nap time). She also seeks out new activities for the children, so they don't get bored with the same routine each week. Our son got a lot of social interaction with other children, as Vanessa seeks out activities that involve other small children. Vanessa is very reliable. She is rarely sick, and plans her occasional days off well in advance so it is easy to plan. Most importantly, Vanessa loves our son and has taken very good care of him. She is always calm and cheerful. Our son has thrived in her care.
